ABOUT
Our beautiful hostelry is situated near the National Trust owned Dolaucothi Gold Mines. Stay, rest and relax in our homely bed and breakfast.
OUR ROOMS
We offer three double bedrooms with ensuites. Two with showers and one with bath and hand held shower.We also have a twin bedded room with ensuite shower as well. Two rooms with river views across the grounds. Complementary beverages and toiletries are provided in each room. Pet Friendly rooms available.

OUR SERVICES
Breakfast
Breakfast is served between 8-9:30am with a choice of fruit juice, cereals, yoghurts fruit bowl, a cooked breakfast and toast with preserves. Tea and coffee
Garden
Guests can sit in the grounds and view the Birds of Prey.
Bird of prey experiences are available please enquire on booking.
The Cosy
Guests can relax in the residents lounge. Enjoy a drink from our bar or a hot beverage while you relax, unwind and pass the time away.
Free Wifi
Wifi is available, although as we are rural it can play up
Dining Service
Evening meals and packed lunches are available, these must be booked in advance. We have a fully licensed bar for residence and non residents. We provide 2 course Sunday lunches 12:30-14:00. Booking only.
From April 2nd 2025 light lunches and cream teas on certain days- Please check our days and times.
The Dolaucothi Bar
Whether you are staying with us for a relaxing break, live locally or are passing by, the fully licensed Dolaucothi Bar is open to sit and relax in with a drink. Teas and coffees are also available. In summer the garden outside offers the perfect view over the River Cothi. Dog and child friendly.

There are four miles of fishing rights here and guests can fish whilst staying with us.

Over the road to the Dolaucothi Arms is the National Trust owned Dolaucothi Estate, with a variety of signposted walks or just free to wonder.
Gold Mines
The National Trust owned Dolaucothi Gold Mines are nearby and fantastic tours are available. Do look at their website for opening times and bookings.

Perfect for Artists
Tread in the footsteps of a famous painter who stayed here in 1942. Rest and relax whilst creating in a beautiful peaceful setting. Wonderful area for photographers to discover stunning scenes to photograph. Our in house photographer Sam, can also give advice on places to go to take the perfect shot.
